Federal Trade Commission

The Federal Trade Commission does not resolve individual consumer complaints, but they will keep a file of complaints against businesses, and if they receive enough complaints about a business, they will look into their practices. The FTC will handle pretty much all complaints about corporate fraud, deception, and unfair business practices. The FTC was originally designed to deal with unfair methods of competition and monopolistic practices, but they have evolved into a full consumer protection agency.
Federal Communications Commission

The FCC is responsible for regulating all interstate and international communications by radio, television, wire, satellite, and cable. The FCC should be contacted if you have a complaint about a business that's related to the aforementioned categories. If, for example, a telemarketing company or debt collector is harassing you by continuously calling you, you should file a complaint with the FCC. State Attorneys General
Each state has it's own Attorney General and all of them handle complaints differently. Some allow complaints to be filed online, while some require you to email complaints or even send them through the mail. The State Attorneys General may be the best method for protecting yourself and others from corporate fraud and deception. They will also place more importance on individual complaints, and because they only deal with one businesses in one state, they can devote more time to each individual complaint than Federal Agencies can. When you have a complaint about a business, you should file a complaint with the Attorney General in your state, as well as the Attorney General in the state where the business is operating from.
